Supporting the YDMT
DTMS
Group are a keen supporter of Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT) and
have been for the last five years providing work placement for trainees.
The
YDMT provides a fantastic opportunity for a young apprentice to engage in
training, encouraging personal development and then leading to fulltime
employment.
In
November 2010 we employed our first recruit in the scheme: Ed Carrigan who
successfully completed NVQ Level 2 apprenticeship in Environmental
Conservation and joined our team in a fulltime position.
Carl
Greenwood was our 2013 - 2015 apprentice and studied and achieved NVQ Level 2
in Amenity Horticulture and also now works fulltime for DTMS. This year’s new
apprentice is Ed Snow, he is studying the same course as Carl and has just
started his course work studies at Craven College which he will continue with
every Friday, term time until Easter 2016.
On
behalf of our apprentices and ourselves we would like to thank the YDMT.
