Our Services

Landscaping

At DTMS Group we have the ability to enrich landscapes with the addition of trees, shrubs, plug plants and seed, whether it be wildflower mixes or a standard grass mix. This is often carried out from supplied drawings and specification from landscape architects or construction project designers. We can supply a full package of works for the main contractor, from the site clearance, to the reinstatement of soft landscaping and fencing.

Vegetation Management

The management of vegetation is very important, especially in certain areas. It can be to ensure road signs can be seen, to encourage specific plant species to thrive, or to control non-native invasive weeds. Sometimes it necessary to facilitate new construction works or to enhance an area ecologically. DTMS Group can supply the machinery and experience to carry out our client’s requirements.

Weed Control

In the UK climate, weed growth is prolific, and in certain scenarios it needs to be controlled. DTMS group have various types of pesticide application equipment that can be used by our qualified and experienced operators. It is a sector that is under a huge amount of scrutiny, which makes it vitally important that the application of any pesticides is done as the product label instructs by competent people. We are Amenity Assured through BACCS and regularly attend Amenity Forum meetings to stay up to date on ever changing legislation and product licencing.

Fencing

Whether it is to demarcate a boundary or to keep people out, fences are an important part of any development. This can be another element of an overall project, as either the site set up or reinstatement works.

Over the years DTMS have priced, delivered and in some cases maintained projects for me. I have been a contracts manager and environmental designer for over 30 years. I have always found DTMS to be prompt with tender returns, conscious and diligent in delivery. Works are well supervised on site, operatives have been certificated and trained in the machinery used and health and safety has been to the required standards.

Contracts have included General hard and soft landscaping, Cycle route construction, fencing, school outdoor classrooms, and most recently 2020 . Reinstatement of a fishing lake, involving Felling of trees, earthworks in and around the lake to improve depths and profiles, otter proof fencing,car park improvements, site access controls, native tree/shrub planting , cultivation and seeding. All works completed to a good standard,in the agreed period and under very testing ground conditions.
