This year we returned with our purpose built, low ground pressure sprayer which we designed and manufactured ourselves earlier this year. The sprayer, which boasts a 400l tank, 6 metre boom section, retractable hand lances on reels and large floatation tyres, enables us to reach even more remote locations with our ATV sprayer than ever before without causing damage through compaction.
As you can see in the comparison photographs above, that the results speak for themselves.
The main reason for bracken control is because it contains a number of toxins that are poisonous to cattle, sheep and hoses when ingested. Although these animals will usually avoid it, they will consume it if there is no other food source available, such as time of drought.
