With the schools closed for the Easter holidays, our grounds maintenance clients have taken the opportunity to give their sports pitches the care they require after the winter season.
An application of Nitrogen, Phosphorous and Potassium fertiliser was applied to all the pitches. This ensures that the grass has all the nutrients it requires to grow and prosper.
A selective herbicide was later applied. The timing of application was ideal with the broadleaf weeds being at the correct growth stage with enough leaf coverage to ensure a high success rate.
